Dashing the hopes of liberal media pundits, the man who attempted to bomb New York’s Times Square turned out to be a Muslim (Wow! What a surprise!) Some had speculated that it would surely be a member of the Tea Party movement. Mayor Bloomberg had surmised that the bomber might have been someone who opposed nationalized health care (Obamacare). Of course, his theory turned out to be just a little off.
One reporter expressed hopes that the bomber would not be from an Islamic country. (I guess if Times Square is going to be bombed, it is better for non-Islamic people to it.) She referenced the Hutaree, leaving the impression that it could just as easily been some radical bunch of “Christians.”
As when Nidal Hassan killed 13 people at Fort Hood while shouting “Allahu Akbar,” those driven by political correctness continue to operate under the delusion that terrorism is not chiefly an Islamic practice in our time. I took some time today to go back and read several verses from the Hadiths (sayings and actions of Mohammed). I was reminded that Mohammed prided himself in striking terror into the minds of his opponents. For example, in chapter 4:220 of the Hadith Mohammed says, “I have been made victorious with terror cast into the heart of the enemy.” Like Major Hassan, Shahzad had hoped to follow in the footsteps of Mohammed, his great prophet-leader.
I hope average Americans are not as dense and duped as some of our nations esteemed leaders and pundits: If so, we are in big trouble. True, Quran-styled Islam is terroristic by nature and design. People must awake to this reality.
