Even if we assume that those currently in office want nothing but the best for us (at best this is an assumption, if not wishful thinking or irrational delusion), the power they are rapidly acquiring can be used by a future administration/Congress to brutally enslave the people of this country. Limited government prevents this. Big (and expanding) government invites this. I believe Americans, in general, have become far too trusting of the government.
