The Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event of the year. Tonight the New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts, 31-17 to win their first championship in franchise history. With two teams as evenly matched as these two were, it was really a fun game to watch (except the very end of the game for Colts fans — sorry guys).
Besides the game itself, the Super Bowl has become known for the commercials. With the game being watched by tens of millions of people, it’s rather expensive to buy a commercial spot. This year, a 30 second commercial cost about $3 million to be put on the air. With that kind of investment, it’s no wonder companies try to produce commercials that are both entertaining and memorable.
This year, Audi produced a commercial that I believe is truly memorable. In fact, I may have nightmares about it. Why? Let’s just say it came too close to what may be reality in the not-too-distant future.

Just a couple months ago, Scott Brown was virtually unknown to most Americans. Now he is a household name. When Brown won the Massachusetts election to fill the seat previously held by Ted Kennedy, he did not just beat the candidate opposing him on the ballot — Martha Coakley. He beat Barack Obama. Brown campaigned openly against the President’s policies, namely health care. And he won. In Massachusetts.
So what’s next for Scott Brown? Well, there is some speculation he could run for President in 2012.
Um… let’s hold on for just a minute. Please.

A new study by some West Point scholars reveals that Al Qaeda has killed more fellow Islamists than Westerners. In fact, they have killed eight times as many! This may surprise some, but those of us who are familiar with the Quran and Muslim history are not surprised at all. Mohammed had no sympathy for his fellow Muslims who refused to fight with “might and means” against those who opposed him in Medina. He taught them that fighting was “prescribed” for them even though they did “not like it.”
Both the Quran and the Hadiths [alleged "sayings of Mohammed"] repeatedly urge violence against the so-called “hypocrites” and others who befriend Jews and Christians. The Quran specifically instructs Muslims to “make no friends with Jews and Christians,” and those who do make such friends are guilty [in the minds of faithful Muslims] of heresy, and worthy of the same fate [subjugation, punitive taxation or extermination].
The Quran specifically forbids the occupation of the Arabian Peninsula by non-Muslims. As long as the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan or other Muslim countries even tolerate the presence of US military or other non-Muslim personnel on Muslim territory, their people are classified as enemies of Al Qaeda. Terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda are particularly angered when the citizens of Islamic countries welcome American troops. The actions of Al Qaeda are motivated and outlined by the teaching of the so-called “Holy Quran.” This is a politically incorrect observation, but it is nonetheless true. I hope that at least our State Department and military are aware of this fact. Obviously, our current president doesn’t know it [or perhaps he does, and you just can't tell it from his Islam-friendly rhetoric].
Incidentally, as the recent killing of seven CIA operatives by a [Muslim] double-agent illustrates, this works both ways. True Muslims are firmly committed to the principles of the Quran. American soldiers, operatives and contractors must be very careful about the extent to which they trust the Muslims with whom they work. Obviously, some Muslims do not take a literal interpretive approach to the Quran, and are, consequently, fairly safe and trustworthy. However, Muslims who fully embrace the Mohammedan jihadist view of Islam can be very dangerous. They are actually instructed in the Quran to give the appearance of cooperation [and even surrender] as a military tactic. The reality is that Muslims are commanded to “MAKE NO FRIENDS WITH JEWS OR CHRISTIANS.” This necessarily means that any gesture of peace or agreement is a pretense [at least with Quran literalists].
The objective of Islam is world conquest, ideologically and physically. Let us not forget this.

Scott Roeder, the man who admitted to killing Kansas abortion doctor George Tiller back in May, has been convicted of first degree murder. He faces a life sentence in prison, with the possibility of parole in 25 years.
Roeder did not try to deny the charges. He admitted to the killing and testified in court that he acted in order to stop Tiller from harming anymore unborn children. It was an intriguing defense. But expectedly, it did not work. The jury took just 37 minutes of deliberation to reach a verdict.
Some will want to debate whether or not Roeder was justified in this killing. I don’t intend to discuss that here. But there are some other observations I’d like to make:
